We are a small team who think carefully about everything we make. If you share that disposition, we would like to hear from you.
We founded this company because we believed there was a better way to make clothes and a better way to sell them — directly, honestly, and without the noise that dominates most of the industry. That philosophy extends to how we work. We are based in London, with a showroom in New York and a small remote team spread across Europe. We produce twice a year, which means we have time to think, to revise, and to do things properly.
We offer competitive salaries, a generous clothing allowance, flexible hours, and the kind of work environment where your contribution is visible and your voice is heard.
We measure success in decades, not quarters. We hire people who find satisfaction in getting a detail exactly right, even when no one else would notice.
We expect everyone on the team to have a point of view — and to be willing to revise it when presented with a better argument. Good taste and intellectual humility are not in conflict.
We are a deliberately small organisation. Every role carries genuine responsibility. You will see the results of your work directly and quickly.
We share the business context with the whole team. Salaries, margins, challenges — we believe people do better work when they understand the wider picture.
We are currently hiring for the following positions. All roles are open to applicants regardless of background or academic path; we care about what you can do and how you think, not where you studied.
Lead the development of our knitwear collections from concept through to bulk production. Requires 5+ years in luxury knitwear, deep knowledge of yarn sourcing, and fluency in hand-knit constructions.
Represent NORTH & CO. in our Nolita showroom. Help customers find pieces they will wear for years, not seasons. Experience in premium or luxury retail preferred, but genuine passion for clothes matters more.
Own the performance and presentation of northco.com — from product merchandising and site speed to conversion optimisation and campaign coordination. Experience with Next.js and Shopify an advantage.
Manage relationships with our mill and manufacturing partners across Europe. Track samples, lead times, and fabric allocations. A keen eye for quality and a systematic mind are equally important here.
Send a short introduction and your CV to careers@northco.com, with the role title in the subject line. If you are applying for a design role, please include a portfolio or a link to recent work. We read every application and respond to all candidates within two weeks.
We also welcome speculative applications from people who are not applying for a listed role but feel strongly that they belong here. Tell us why, and show us your work.
